Death and Burial
François Daragon dit Lafrance passed away being given the age of around 70 years on the record. His burial was on 25 August 1734 in Notre-Dame de Montréal.[2][1]

Devant le notaire Louis Chambalon on trouve ces deux actes qui indiquent que François Daragon et Marie Guillemet sont déjà mariés en juillet 1697, François étant dit le gendre de Nicolas Guillement et Marie Celle. La vente sera annulée en novembre de la même année.
-V(ente). Nicolas Guillimet et Marie Celle, de St-Jean, LO., à François Daragon, leur gendre, du même lieu, de 1 1/2 arpent pris sur leur habitation de 5 arpents x moitié de l'ile (26 juillet 1697). pg 190[3]
-Désistement et annulation, de vente par François Daragon, acquéreur, à l ’égard de Nicolas Guillimet et Marie Celle, vendeurs (7 novembre 1697) (Voir le 29 juillet 1697). pg 198[3]

Before notary Louis Chambalon are found 2 acts which indicate that François and Marie Guillemet were already married in July 1697, her parents made a sale to François, François being listed as their son-in-law (gendre). The sale was canceled in November.[3]
