Biography

Mary H R Dart was born 15 June 1863 in Ontario. [1] [2] In 1881 she was a telegraph operator living with her parents in Tuckersmith, Huron. [3]

E Loran Kellough and Mary H R Dart were married about 1884. [4] [5] They went to live in Chicago about 1893. By 1920, Mary had her "First Papers" toward US citizenship and was of the same status in 1930. [6] [7] On 24 Jul 1919 Mary and her sister Annie Cordelia lived at 5630 States St., Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA. [8] In 1930, their address was 6937 Yale Avenue, Chicago. [9]

Mary lived in rented homes and had boarders:

1891: male engineer aged 29 and barber aged 24.
1900: none.
1910: 30 year old single male billing clerk.
1920: 48 year old single male clerk.
1930: 75 yr old widow and 36 yr old single female clerk.

She died 26 May 1940 in Elgin, Kane, Illinois and was buried in Oak Woods Cemetery, Chicago, Cook, Illinois. [10]
