Biography

Anne Doucet was born on 1 Apr 1747 in Annapolis Royal, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia, daughter of Joseph Doucet (1706 - ~1767) and Anne Agnès Surette (1715 - <1766). Her godparents were Daniel Egan and Elisabeth Prijean.[1]

Anne married Jean Pierre Mius (1743 - 1825) in 1767 in Port Royal, Acadia, British Colony of Nova Scotia. Their children were:

  1. Cecile Mius (~1768 - >1829)
  2. François Mius (~1770 - >1834)
  3. Jean Baptiste Mius (1775 - )
  4. Louis David Mius (~1784 - ~1881)
  5. Anne Mius (~1786 - 1859)
  6. Marguerite Pelagie Mius (~1790 - >1861)
  7. Rosalie (Mius) LeBlanc (<1792 - >1839).

Anne died on 2 Jan 1838 in Yarmouth County aged 90.[citation needed]
