Biography

Pierre Duguay Lafranchise was born on 7 Jan 1663 in St-Gervais-et-Protais, Cherac, Saintonge, France.[1] (Tanguay lists him as baptised in 1675.[2]) His parents were Guillaume Duguay and Marie Bogue of Chirac, Eveche de Saintes, France.[3][1]

He emigrated to New France.

Pierre Duguay married Angelique Dugre on 17 Feb 1694 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1][4][2][3]
