Biography

Birth 5th of 15 children of John Dunn and Mary Barrett ^[1]

Marriage - Age 30 in 1932 at Peak Hill to Florence Ellen Burns, age 22 ^[2]  

Walter and Florence had 6 children.

Death Age 62 in 1965 in Parkes Hospital ^[3]

His Life ^[5] Walter was born at Alectown, and moved with the family to a farm called "Kangaroobie" near Numulla/Trundle NSW around 1916. (Note: "Kangaroobie" was the name of the property near Orange where his grandparents lived years before).

In the 1930's Walter had several mail contracts in the district. Also worked at shearing, fencing , wood cutting and share farming.

Around 1944 he moved to Tullamore with his family.

Walter became a diabetic in his 30's (there were a number of diabetics in the family) He died in hospital in Parkes
