Biography

Silas was born 6 May 1755 at Newtown CT. ^{[1][2] [3]}and was baptized May 18 1755. He married about 1736 ^[4] Jerusha Bristol. ^[5]

Silas and Jerusha had nine sons and five daughters. Only 2 sons had male issue. ^[5]

In 1786 he removed to Salem, Washington, New York and in 1796 he moved to Aurlius, Cayuga, New York.

Silas died 25 September 1830 Aurelius NY.
