Hey Paul,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards.

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles.

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Hi ,

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. We are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree - Matty Gerrard :)

Dear All,

I am Paul Philip Empey. I am the fourth child of Roy Fairfield Empey and Thomasena (Ena) Empey (nee McCullough).

I am especially interested in researching and providing information about my maternal side of family, e.g. my grandfather, James McCullough, and my grandmother, Annie Jane McCullough (nee Horner).

I totally agree with your mission on this site and shall abide by the 'nine simple rules'.

Just by searching on family names I have gained an extensive amount of information so far, for which I am grateful.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Empey.
