Biography
Elizabeth N. Fincher was born November 19, 1845 to John Fincher and Charlotte Cross in Alabama.
She married John Amos Porter, Sr. John Amos Porter August 16, 1864 in DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. Their children were:
- John Amos Porter, Jr.
- George N. Porter
- Euvelia L. Porter
- William W. Porter
- Emma Porter
- F. F. Porter
- Jewel Ellington Porter
She died, at the age of 61, on November 20, 1906 in Shelby County, Texas.[1] She is buried at the Fairview Cemetery, Center, Shelby County, Texas.[2]
