William Fulton was born on 2 September 1819 in Ross County, Ohio, United States, son of William Fulton (1787–1874) and Mary Coleman (~1794–1850).
He was one of the five "males under 10" in his father's 1820 household in Springfield, Ross, Ohio.[1] And one of the three "males age 10 and under 14" in the 1830 census in Concord, Delaware, Ohio.[2]
William and Hanna Beach were married before 1844 in Madison County, Ohio. They had the following children:
They had moved to West Canaan (now Amity), Madison County, Ohio when, in the summer of 1849, there was an outbreak of cholera. Their son Moses died on 23 August, and William died on the 26th. Both were interred in the Nugent Farm Cemetery with most of the other cholera victims.[3]
