Hi. I noted that you had added Bridget A (Mulcahy) Sheehan as a spouse for Patrick Sheehan, profile at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Sheehan-1355. This Patrick Sheehan married Jeanne Fitzgerald in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia (now part of Canada) in 1825 and had at least three children born in Cape Breton by 1840. I very much doubt that this is the same Patrick Sheehan that you belive Bradget Mulcahy to be married. If you have some evidence otherwise, please share it and we can work on the profile together. Best, Michael Mac Neil
Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. To get the best results, you need to start with yourself and add sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to existing profiles in WikiTree. The more branches you are able to add the greater the likelihood of finding potential cousins to match with. 24 hours later, your test will have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches which relate to the particular branches you are researching.
Let me know if you have any questions and have fun!

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. The New Member How-Tos are for you to work at your own pace. Did you have a chance to review the first week? Was it helpful?
If you have questions about how WikiTree works, I'm here to help. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.
Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Based on your pre-1700 ancestors, it looks like youre going to be working on profiles that fall under several Projects. I'm here to help you find one that best fits your needs.
Start by thinking about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you're interested. Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Take a look at the list of active projects for examples of what we have going on.
If you see one that's just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can find.
You are now confirmed as a full member. Please start with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles. We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree community!
