Thomas Charles was born in the Colony of New South Wales. [1] He married Mary Winifred Hackett in February, 1912. [2] [3]Thomas and Mary set up house in Forbes, Central West, New South Wales.
Their first child was John Patrick [Jack] Ginty, then a second son Thomas Joseph [Tom] Ginty was born in 1919. Sadly Mary died from complications shortly after the birth of Tom in late January, 1919.
Then in 1923, Thomas Charles married Gladys Mary Skewes and they lived in Gulargambone a town in Central West, New South Wales. Their first child Robert Anthony [Bob] Ginty was born in 1923 in Waverly, Sydney, NSW. Both mother and child returned to Gulargambone, then the family moved to Baradine about 50 kms east of Gulargambone then a few weeks in Sydney and finally in 1927-8 to Uralla.
Two more children Mary Ginty and Betty Ann Ginty were the next members of the family. Betty caught Hydatids in both lungs, the family moved to Sydney during her treatment. They lived near Clovelly Beach for a short time then to Avoca Street, Randwick. Finally in about 1937 they moved to Pennant Hills to a 70 acre farm "Beecroft Valley Farm".
In 1943, Thomas lived in the Sydney suburb of Randwick North.
Thomas Charles died in 1945 in hospital at Camperdown, Sydney. [4]

Thomas Charles married Mary Winifred Hackett in 1912 at Sacred Heart Church, Randwick and lived at .. In 1914, John Patrick (Jack) was born, then in 1919, their second child Thomas Joseph was born. Mary Winifred died of childbirth complications on the 23rd January, 1919. Thomas Charles now had a new born baby and a 6 years old. Not able to care for both children alone and work he decided to have the boys taken in to care by family members. Jack was taken by his brother Edward Robert (Ted) Ginty to family in country, New South Wales and baby Thomas was taken by his maternal grandmother Julia Mary Anne (Clarke, Hackett) Dwyer. Then in 1923 Thomas Charles married Gladys Mary Skewes and although he had 2 yound boys they were not taken into the new marriage family. Thomas and Gladys lived at various locations over the years, mainly... 1923, Gulargambone; 1926-27, Baradine, then Sydney, Uralla; 1929-30, Gulargambone; 1932, Clovelly, Sydney; 1933-34, Avoca Street, Randwick; Pennant Hills on a farm. Gladys divorced Thomas in 1943, possibly after all the moving from city to country and various suburbs of Sydney. Now 64 years old and single Thomas moved to 8 Stanley Street, Randwick. Thomas Charles Ginty died at RPA Hospital, Camperdown, Sydney on 1st february, 1945.
