James Peyton Graves was born at Allen County War Memorial Hospital in Scottsville, KY in 1972 to James and Helen (Anderson) Graves.
Peyton attended the Allen County school system and attended Walkers Chapel United Methodist Church with his parents.
On May 5, 1990 at the age of 17, Peyton married Angela Michelle Driver at the Scottsville Free Methodist Church by Reverend Al Bukta. Two children were born to this union; Ethan and Bridgett.
Peyton earned his GED in 1992 and eventually went on to graduate with honors from Bowling Green Technical College where he earned an Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering.
Peyton spent several years as a volunteer fireman with the Stony Point Fire Department in Allen County, KY and was on the Bowling Green Warren County Rescue Squad for several years, as well.
In 2013, Peyton was diagnosed with a malignant astrocytoma (brain cancer). Surgery to remove the cancer was unsuccessful and his team of doctors gave him a life expectancy of 6 months or less. At the time of this writing, he has passed the 5 year mark and counting. God is good every day. Every day, God is good. :-)
