wife Elizabeth family name Wright ( in other geneologies her last name is report as Mott and Ferris) and in some also listed as "Widow Wright" so likely married before John. His mother's name sometimes listed as Mary Budd Griffin (Wales)

son John's wife Hannah family name Clarke Ezekiel Griffin and John Griffin, Jr are both sons of John Griffin, Sr (1660) and his wife Elizabeth (listed as Wright, other geneologies have her name as Mott and Ferris). Ezekiel's daughter Phoebe Griffin married Gershom Gilbert Griffin, son of John Griffin III (29 July 1713). This makes them some sort of cousins, something like first cousins once removed. Edward Griffin >John Griffin, Sr > Ezekiel Griffin > Phoebe Griffin and Edward Griffin>John Griffin,Sr (1660) > John Griffin, Jr ( 1688)> John Griffin, III (1713)>Gershom Gilbert Griffin (1743)

Griffin-436 and Griffin-9292 appear to represent the same person because: clear duplicates

But need to keep the data of Griffin-9292, most sources say "about, and 9292 is more logically laid out.

Griffin-9292 and Griffin-436 are not ready to be merged because: Need time to sort out the mother situation

Griffin-9292 and Griffin-436 appear to represent the same person because: Same father, same birthplace and approx date, children in -434 are listed in bio of -9292, They are the same person and should be merged. Mothers are different, death dates and plaes are different. looks like -9292 is better on those. But -434 has the wives. Same person, please merge them.
