DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pierre by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Pierre:
Guay-84 and Guay dit Castonguay-3 appear to represent the same person because: Guay_dit_Castonguay-3 was created when no results appeared during creation. Better search technique was needed. I would have deleted the new profile when I found the original Guay-84, but we can't do that.
Merge should be into Guay-84 as that will resolve the issue that dit names should not be part of the LNAB. If you have not found it, here is a link to Project: Quebecois that has a lot of good information on names, place names, etc. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Quebecois
