Katherina Hanna was the daughter of Robert Hannah and Mary Catherine Parks. When Katherine Hanna was born on September 13, 1783, in Laurens, South Carolina,[1]her father, Robert, was 38, and her mother, Mary, was 38, when she was born.
She married John Hitch in 1798 in Laurens, South Carolina.[2][3]
On the 1850 US Census she is age 66 with infered Birth year as About 1784, living with her daughter Catharine-27 and son in law, C. B Stewart-37-Minister, in Laurens, Laurens, Couth Carolina.[4]
She died on July 2, 1851, in her hometown at the age of 67, and was buried in Clinton, South Carolina in the Hitch Family Cemetery.[5]
