Research Notes
At one point her bio stated that her mother was Ephraim's first wife, Mary (Smith) Hatfield (1754-aft.1798). However, Mary died several years before Anna's purported birth. If indeed Ephraim is her father, it is more likely that her mother is his second wife/common-law wife Anna (McKinney) Hatfield (1764-1859). The known children of Ephraim and Anna (McKinney) Hatfield were born between 1802 & 1812, so a daughter Anna born about 1807 would fit.
