An interesting fact is that Son, Leonard Hobbs and John's wife, Elizabeth were appointed administrators - except - Leonard Hobbs refused to administer it. Can't help but wonder what that was all about. The Founders of Anne Arundel & Howard County, Maryland by Joshua Dorsey Warfield says: "John Hobbs Sr of Frederick County in his Will names sons: Leonard Hobbs, Nicholas Hobbs, and Greenberry Hobbs. [4]

I've just researched Elizabeth, wife of John Hobbs, who is really Unknown. She is not Elizabeth Worthington, who lived later and married someone else, so all the children of John Hobbs, Jr, are the children of Elizabeth Unknown.
