Jonathan Holt and Mariah Wheeler were married in 1772. The first five children that Durrie attributes to Jonathan and Mariah were the children of Jonathan Holt (1727-1805) and Susannah Holt (1737-1801).

Jonathan and Mariah Holt were parents of six known children: Mary, Martin, Daniel, Samuel, Sarah, and Ebenezer.
