Biography

William Pitner Jones was born in 1811 in Sparta, Tennessee. He had five sons and one daughter with Sarah Ann Anderson between 1830 and 1851. He died as the result of a tragic accident on June 28, 1876, in Carroll, Arkansas, at the age of 65, and was buried in Carroll County, Arkansas.
