His will is dated 9 February 1753 and proved on 1 October 1753 in Norwich. He mentions his wife Hepzibah, his sons Phineas, Zadok, Amasa, Nathan, Jephthah, and John, and his daughters, Sarah Rose, Abigail, Marcy, Hepzibah, and Olive. His inventory was completed on 8 November 1753 in Preston.[2]
