Research Note

A death date of 1694 in Herwijnen has been mentioned for her, but this seems very unlikely. As there are no actual sources given for this fact, this date has been removed for now.

Deroos-23 and Kuijstendr-1 appear to represent the same person because: These can be merged , Deroos-23 into Ijken Jan Kuijstendr please ! Thanks :)

Bea, could you please add the parents for IJken as listed in the last will of 1623, of which I just added a summary? Or if it is more convenient, I would be interested to be on the trusted list so I can do it myself (since the mentioned source, the book "DeRo(o)sa's van Herwijnen", written by Engel Roza, actually used the information that I contributed to Engel on these Andel families when he was preparing his book.

Update: Ijcken is the first and only wife, Metje de Roos was a mix up and this is now corrected.

Metken (Metje) was the wife of Brother Alert Gijsbertsz, her name was not de Roos, but Walravens. So Metken (Metje) Walravens (de Roos) now is merged and corrected .

I can see now that Ijken appears to have been a second wife, and is probably not the mother of any of Heymen's children.

Her prior match seems to have confused her with the first wife, Metje de Roos, who died in 1625, and is claimed as the mother of Aeldert, and so is probably the mother of all of Heymen's children as well.

I set her as a rejected match. She has a de Roos lineage, that does not fit with the names given for Ijken, so I think they are indeed two separate women, who should not be merged.

I am going to detach the only child Aeldert from Ijken here, so that he can be merged with his match, who has the mother already attached as Metje.

Edit July 1, 2015: See former Metje de Roos profile for explanation of what subsequently has been corrected for this supposed mother.

Deroos-2 and Kuijstendr-1 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. They have the same son. I left a Comment that the name on mine appears to be a name confusion with a later descendant, so let's just merge it away here please. I saved all the alternate data to the respective bios so that it can be recovered later as needed. Thanks!

The Deroos-2 name here is likely a source confusion with a later Roosevelt wife of a Heyman. I think this profile as Metje G Deroos should simply be merged away.
