Jonathan Lapham was born 20 Apr 1798, the son of Stephen Lapham and Rachel Hussey. He married Elizabeth Shoffield Healy in 1821. Three children are listed:

1. Benjamin Franklin born in Sep 1822; married 1) 6 Oct 1840 Anna Row (died in 1858); 2) Mary Mason.
2. Jerome Lapham born 23 Nov 1823; married Hannah Hoyt.
3. Fletcher born in Oct 1833, married Mary Kelly. ^[1]
