Biography
Joseph Maurice Lavois was born on 1 Mar 1773 and baptized the following day in Notre-Dame-de-Liesse parish of Rivière-Ouelle, Province of Quebec. His parents were Jean Lavoie and Josephe Bérubé.[1]
Marriage
Marcel Lavoie married Cécile Rioux, daughter of Étienne Rioux and the late Marie Rosalie Côté, on 9 Jan 1797 in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges parish of Trois-Pistoles.[2]
Death and Burial
Marcel Lavoie passed away on 7 Dec 1858 being given the age of around 85 years and 9 months on the record. His burial was the 9th in Saint-Denis-De La Bouteillerie, Bas-Canada.[3]
