Biography

Jean Baptiste Le Prince was born in 1721. He was the son of Jean Leprince and Jeanne Blanchard. He was baptized 9 Feb 1721 at Port Royal. His godparents were Charles Blanchard and Angelique Richard.[1][2]

He married first, Judith Richard, daughter of René Richard and Marguerite Teriot, 8 February 1747 at Port Royal. Witnesses were Jean Le Prince, René Richard and Guillaume Blanchard. There was a dispensation for 3-4 consanguinity.[3][4][5]

Jean Leprince, widow of Judith Richard, son of Jean Leprince and the late Jeanne Blanchard married second, Marie Madeleine Bourg, widow of Pierre Richard, daughter of Michel Bourg and the late Marie Cormier 15 Feb 1762 at Bécancour, Quebec.[9]

Jean Leprince, husband of Madeleine Bourg passed away 28 Mar 1787, aged 66 years and was buried the next day at Bécancour, Quebec (Nativité-de-la-Bienheureuse-Vierge-Marie).[10][11]
