Biography

This profile is for Elijah Leach, the son of Samuel Leach and his wife, Mary Byram. He was born before 1694, probably in Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay, New England, but nothing is known with any certainty about his life. He has been continuously confused in family genealogies with his nephew, Elijah Leach, son of his brother Samuel Leach, born in 1726 etc. One problem is that Mary (Byram) Leach died in 1687, well before a 1694 birth date for Elijah.
