I am doing extensive research on my husband's line of Branch / Paulk and Meyer / Lynch families. Branch itself has been interesting from England (Christopher Branch) in 1600s to VA, then some into NC, GA then FLA. I've been researching about 10 hours a day. Trying to make sure the info for each gen is accurate since they used the same names over and over. I'm trying to tie in dates to help with that.
I'm the youngest child of Marcel Levesque and Theresa Linehan
I have 2 older brothers and was raised in a great "small town" community. My parents were next door neighbors in Maine where they fell in love when my dad was on leave from the Navy during WWII and his mother was hospitalized. He walked in to find my Mom visiting with his mother, asked her to wait for him and took her on their first date. They rest is history.
One cool thing about me is I got married on my parent's 50th anniversary which my husband suggested originally. It made it such a special day. I wore my mom's dress that my Gram had made for her. My Dad told EVERYBODY that story. I am very tied to family history on all sides.
Never take family for granted. Get those stories written down!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

I'm doing a lot of research on some people 1700s-early 1800s that I'm not finding on wiki-tree or they aren't linked. Haven't added anyone yet 1700s but digging through wills and periodicals trying to back up what my in-laws and own family have read about or heard through family lore. I will ask for help ahead of time to make sure I'm doing the right thing if I find enough info. For example, John Richard Branch (Branch-387) I know his wife's name and children's names which are blank but until I find more documentation I won't be adding. My husband's line comes through this Branch from what I have figured out so there is a chunk of the tree that doesn't match what have. I'm trying to link my husband's DNA test to this but will be a bit before I can get him to link it. I doubt he remembers his login on Ancestry to link it! So, until then I will continue to research.
Thanks for the advice. Maria
Take care, Sheryl

When you have your part of our One Big Tree fleshed out and you are ready to supplement it with DNA test matches, please check out the DNA Help category page to see all the DNA help that is available, and the How to Get Started page in particular.
When you are ready to start documenting that your genealogy sources are confirmed by DNA test matches, be sure to follow the guidance at the DNA Confirmation help page. A profile should not be marked "confirmed with DNA" without source documentation for both genealogy and DNA test matching. Also, try out the DNA Confirmation Citation Maker app, it can simplify the job of creating and/or validating source citatations for DNA confirmation.
If you have questions or need assistance, feel free to ask on the G2G Forum using the Tag "DNA" and/or "DNA_Confirmation".

We are so pleased you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.
Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.
Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.
Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
