Sarah was born "say 1650" at either Stamford or Fairfield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, a daughter of Robert Lockwood and Susanna Norman.^[1] The family removed from Stamford to Fairfield in 1650, and it seems that Sarah's birth was not recorded. Her death was; she died on March 1, 1650/1 at Fairfield.^[1]
