Jedidiah married Mary (Cushman) Lyon (1723-1796) on 24 November 1743 in Middleborough, Massachusetts.[4]They had eleven children all born in Middleborough. [5]
Jedediah served in the American Revolution. He was a Corporal in Captain Abiel Pearce's 2nd Middleborough Company of Militia, which marched on the alarm of 19 April 1775.[6][7] He also served three month in 1776-1777 as a private in Captain Nehemiah Allen's company, at age 55.
He died in Middleborough on February 9, 1807 at the age of 85. Jedediah's will was written 3 April 1789, and his estate passed probate on 6 March 1807.[8]
