I have found a lass who is called HESTER A BADCOCK, born 1894. She is in the 1901 census. Maybe the person on your record has a slightly changed name? Her Dad is George E Badcock, Mother Emily A ?. A birth index shows an Esther Amelia BADCOCK from Cookham, Berkshire, England - birth registration 1894. Sibling Montague?
My family also began as BADCOCK and some of the family changed to BADDOCK in mid 1840-1899. I don't think my Badcock/Baddock family are related, but I am still researching.
Regards, Rona
As a mentor I'm here to help. If you have questions or problems with WikiTree, including with your GEDCOM, post a comment on my profile page or send me a private message.
Glad you volunteered! You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House, you might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.
We are semi retired and attempting to create an accurate history of our ancestors. We have been successful through research and by working with others to obtain correct information. I think this is great that people can work to help one another accomplish the mission of a complete family tree.
I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful.
If you have any brick walls, collaboration might help bust through. Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out. ANY Wiki Genealogist can edit "Open" profiles (over 200 years old = open). There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: brickwall
