Private Lyman Lyon served with Lexington Alarm - April 1775, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Lyman was born in Woodstock, Connecticut, on 10 March 1753. He was the son of Nehemiah Lyon (1719-1807) and Mehitable (Child) Lyon (1720-1789). ^[1]

Lyman was one of the men who marched from Woodstock on the Lexington Alarm at the start of the American Revolution. ^[2]
