Maggie Mains was born in Scotland.
Maggie was born Margaret Mains on Sunday, the 28th of November, 1847 in Bairns Land, Bay Street, Port Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, and baptised on the 14th of December of that year, the 3rd of 10 children of William Mains and Agnes MacFarlane.[1]
She died at some age after 23 and at some time after 1871, in Scotland, possibly.[citation needed]
