His first wife was Ellenda D. Carson, and they had five known children, none surviving past the age of 19.
After Ellenda died, he married Sarah Jameson Dixon on 5 Oct 1843 in Warren Co., KY. They had no children, and she passed away in 1848.
Thirdly, Wilson married Mary D. Snodgrass ne'e Carson, 13 Sep 1849 in Butler Co., KY. She had several children by Robert Snodgrass, who survived her with issue. Mary survived Wilson, passing away in 1867.
He was a Presbyterian preacher at Muddy Creek Church in Butler Co., KY.
