Biography

Geoffrey Ridel married twice, first to Amice, probably a relative of Robert II de Stafford, second to Sibil Mauduit, "whose age in 1185 was given as fifty in the Rotuli de Dominabus, which says she had two sons and a daughter, but that Geoffrey's heir Richard was the son of the first wife".

I think she is attached to the wrong generation and should ewventually be merged with her aunt who married Geoffrey Ridel. I think this because her sisters should also be in that generation.

  • Ralph Mauduit Born about 1132
  • Robert Mauduit Born about 1138

as they were all born before he was 12.

At least two online trees suggest that they were his siblings, but they have their own chronology problems
