DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Patsy by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
McFarland-1751 and MacFarland-210 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics, the same parents, the same siblings, the same spouse, John Triplett, the same marriage date and use some of the same sources. The difference in the spelling of maiden names and the different birthdates need to be rectified.
I have added the section heading for the US Black Heritage Exchange Program. I tried to make it consistent with the formatting you had used with the question about whether it is the same household. I have also requested a new category for Russell County, Kentucky, Slave Owners. I may do a bit more work on this profile once that is created.
These changes help us connect enslaved ancestors to their descendants. See the Heritage Exchange Portal for more information.
McFarland-2363 and McFarland-1751 appear to represent the same person because: McFarland-2363 was originally a duplicate profile for McFarland-1751, wife of John Triplett. The profile was disconnected and the names/dates changed. The way to get rid of the duplicate profile is to merge it into the existing one.
