Biography
Jane was born in 1760. She was the daughter of Robert McKenney and Jane (Holmes) McKenney.
Jane married Richard Carter on 27 May 1778.[1] These are their known children:
- Richard Carter Jr. 1780-1860;
- John Carter 1782-1852;
- Infant Carter 1784-1784;
- Charles Pine Carter 1786-1786;
- Rufus Carter 1788-1834;
- Hannah Carter 1791-1875;
- Eliza Carter 1793-1852;
- Dominicus Carter 1796-1884.
Jane passed away in 1803.[2]
