Sarah was born to Arris Preston Meadows and his wife, Martha Burnside, who were married 1791 July 10th in Lewisburg, Greenbrier County, Virginia, by I A Bell. ^[1] His siblings are James, Francis Wilson, Isabell, Mary M, John Joseph H ^[2], Elizabeth, Hannah (Coon), Patterson, Martha, William ^[3], (possibly Arris Jr), Enoch, and Nancy (Canterbury).
