Biography
Asa was the youngest child of Bartley and Lucinda (Linn) Miller. He was married and divorced before his 30th birthday and had one child, John W. Miller. He was a carpenter and also tried his hand at farming. On 7 May 1904, Asa married Amy Barnes, daughter of George and Jane Barnes, in Purcell, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. No other children were born. Between 1920 and 1930, he and Amy moved to Cumberland, Maryland, where they were still living in 1940.[1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6]
