Biography
my Grandmother remembered him as Harvey Miller. John Harvey Miller was born Oct 7 1829 to parents Hiram Miller and Lucy Catherine Beavers in Smith County, Mississippi, United States . He served as a private in Comp. B 46th infantry, brothers Aaron and Dick, Brother in law Frank Hough .
Some of his Children: Amanda Cole Avey Mary Jane Elizabeth Coulter Lucy Caroline Polk Miriam Davis Benjamin Franklin Miller Barbara Lenora Hastings Thomas Lafayette Miller Joan Graham Ida Mixon Nancy Louella Saxon He had a very fine apple orchard in Covington, at one time he had a grist mill and he was a mason. He died Jan 3 1882 of a sudden heart attack in Covington County, Mississippi, United States and was buried in Seminary, Covington County, Mississippi Thomas Aultman Memorial Cemetery.
