Biography

Louis I Mius married Anne Marie Josephe Corporon in 1768.

Children:

Frédéric Mius b. 1769

Louis II Mius b. 1770

Luc Mius b. 1772

Fermin Mius b. 1774

Anne D'Azit Mius b. 1776

Celeste Mius b. unknown

Leander D'Entremont had the children's birth order with Luc as the oldest and Louis II as the youngest son.

In Leander D'Entremont's history of the Mius family he lists a marriage as one Josephine Meuse to Louis I Mius, with no known parentage for Josephine. He presumed at her parentage. She was in fact Anne Marie Josephe Corporon with the preferred name of Josephine. She was married to Louis I during the expulsion and was therefore Mrs. Josephine Meuse. Multiple sources point to Louis I being married to Marie Anne Corporon.

Père Clarence d'Entremont writes in "Histoire de Sainte-Anne-du-Ruisseau..."

(page 20) [1]
