Elizabeth was the daughter of Edward and Grace Bett/Bell Morris; she was born at Roxbury on March 26, 1665.[1] She married Joshua Child there on March 9, 1685.[2] Elizabeth died at age 87 in 1752.[3]

Donald Child writes: Benjamin and Grace are my fifth generation great grandparents. Benjamin's grave, in Jamaica Plain (MA), Walter Street Burying Ground in the south end of The Arnold Arboretum. His is the oldest grave in the burying ground. His father, also Benjamin, came from England on the Mayflower fleet, 2nd sailing?? . My brother Scott writes, "His brother Joshua is next to his. Joshua's wife Elizabeth is also there, but her headstone has disappeared over the years. Each family had 12 kids. The 2 wives were sisters and their father was Edward Morris. The family estate was near the Brookline border, on the right going up Pond Street and consisted of a house, a barn and 80 acres. Now it's just a bunch of streets and houses.
