Eleanor Norwood was the daughter of William Norwood and Elizabeth Ligon.[1][2] Elinor, child of William, was baptised on 1 Sep 1571 in Cheltenham, St Mary, Gloucestershire, England.[3]
Eleanor married Sir George Blount of Sodington, Worcestershire. She was a major beneficiary in his 1607 will. [4]
After the death of her first husband, Eleanor married John Culpepper. Their marriage took place on 1 May 1615 in Rock, Worcestershire, England.[5][1] It was a second marriage for both of them. Eleanor and John had no children together.
Eleanor is said to have died in 1624 and to have been buried at Mamble, Worcestershire in the Blount Chapel. No primary sources have been found yet to confirm this.
