Biography
Elsie Mary Patfield was born in 1898 in Paterson, New South Wales (Australia). She was the only daughter of Herbert Patfield and Caroline Kimber. [1]
Elsie married James McLaughlin in 1924 in Paterson, New South Wales. [2]
After Elsie's mother died in June 1953, her father came to live with her and James. However, just three months later he was hit by a train and killed. At the time, James was the Station Master at Teralba Railway Station; where the accident occurred.
Aged about 72 years, Elsie passed away in 1970 in Wallsend, New South Wales. [3]
