Arthur Edmond Paul was born on the 12th June 1862, in Neutral Bay, New South Wales, Australia, the son of George Paul and Emily Parkins.[1]
Not only a doctor, Arthur, as with his great-grandmother, Tempest Margaret Paul, his grand-aunt, Isabella Tempest Bird (as she was, Rich as she became), his grandfather and grand-uncle, had a musical bent. He composed a piece called the Australian Star Waltz, in honour of the 1901 royal visit to Australia. It was published in London by J. B. Cramer & Co; and a copy is held at the British Library.[2]
Arthur moved from Australia to England, most likely to assist his mother with his younger brother, Harold Edgar, and stayed.
After fathering two children (Arthur Edmund Beer (1897) and Irene Gwendolyn Florence (1902)) with her, Arthur married Florence Jane Beer on the 24th July 1907, in Paddington, Middlesex, England.[3]
(Mr) Arthur Edmond Paul LRCPE MRCSE, Phys. & Surgeon, passed away on the 20th April 1909 in Hendon, Middlesex, England, just one month three weeks two days before his 47th birthday, and predeceasing his father by eight months.[4]

His father, Judge George William Paul names Arthur E snr's two children in his will (May 1909) : Irene Gwendolyn Florence and Arthur Edmond (therefore, junior), children of Arthur senior's widow Florence. (My copy of this Will was obtained from the Queensland State Archives, where I'm sure it still resides.)
Irene was born in June of 1902, but I have no date/s for Arthur E junior.
