• I have a photocopy of a hand written Family Record by O. W. Bradford listing the births and deaths of his children and two wifes.

Obituary At her home in Cedar Township this morning, Jan. 21st Peurepeal rest, Nancy A., wife of O. W. Bradford. She was born in Holmes county, February 4, 1842 and was therefore 38 years, 11 months and 17 days old when she died. She moved here with her parents, F. and Jane Peckham, in the spring of 1848, and settled in Van Buren county, near Birmingham. She was married Nov. 29th, 1864 to Oliver W. Bradford. At the age of 15 she began to life the live of a christian, uniting with her husband some 5 years ago with the M. E. church of Utica, since which time she has lived the exemplary life of a christian, and died in full faith.

Her illness, though short, was attended with great suffering. She was conscious to the last, recognizing the sorrowing friends that surrounded her bedside. A few moments before the end came she called to her husband and seven children to mourn her loss. Her remains were interred Saturday, the 22nd, at the Morris graveyard, where sorrowing of all in their sad affliction. Although death is a sad affliction and always brings grief to dear ones when it comes, nevertheless it will visit all sooner or later. Therefore let us allways be ready and willing to lend a kind helping hand to those in affliction, remembering that ere long kind friends may be called on to perform the last sad rites for us. F. M. L.
