Margaret was born in 1745 in Augusta, Virginia, United States. She was the daughter of William Gabriel Pickens and Elizabeth (Kerr) Pickens.

Margaret married James Baskin in 1765 in Virginia.[1]

Margaret died at the age of about 26 in 1771 in Abbeville, South Carolina, United States.
