Dorothy Potter was born about 1661 (based on her age at death, daughter of Luke and Dorothy (Edmunds) Potter. [1]
She married Noah Brooks c 1684/5. Noah was born about 1656, the son of Deacon Joshua and Hannah (Mason) Brooks. [1] In a deposition given on December 16, 1679, in a court case between Samuel Buttrick and Richard Rice, Noah stated he was 23 year of age. [2]
In the will of her father Luke, written on June 11, 1695, he left bequests to his wife, children, including daughter Dorothy Brookes, and his grandchildren. [3]
They resided in Concord until 1735, when their farm came within the boundary of the newly incorporated town of Lincoln. [1]
Noah died on February 1, 1738/9, at the age of 82. [4] He is buried in the Old Hill Burying Ground at Concord.
Dorothy died on March 15, 1752, aged approximately 90 years. [4] and is buried with her husband. Her inscription reads: Here lyes ye Body of Mrs. DOROTHY BROOKS Wife to Mr NOAH BROOKS Who departed this Life March 15 1752 in ye 90th Year of Her Age[5]

Ebenezer born on February 14, 1691/2; married Sarah Fletcher daughter of Francis Fletcher on November 18, 1714; moved to Grafton, Massachusetts where he died 5 April 1768. [4][1]
Benjamin born on April 28, 1698; married Sarah Heywood on December 29, 1719. [4][1]
Mary born on July 25, 1699 [4]; died on February 16, 1750; married Timothy Minot, her 2nd cousin, son of James and Rebecca (Wheeler) Minot. [1]
Thomas born on May 28, 1701; died on December 22, 1790; married Hannah Dakin on June 24, 1725. [4][1]
Elizabeth born on February 27, 1703/4; died May 5, 1782 [4]; married John Miles on February 23, 1728. [1]
