Biography

Asahel Preston, born at Rumney, Grafton County, New Hampshire, 1 November 1772; his death is unknown. Asahel was the son of William Preston and his wife, Hannah Healey.^[1]

Asahel Preston married at Stockbridge, 1 September 1796, Elizabeth (Kenicomb) Durkee, whose ancestry is unknown; a record of her death has not been located.^[2]
