Biography
Mary was born in 1842.
Her parents were Ellis Richards and Sarah Almira Tarpley. Mary was on the 1850 census in Union Georgia, with her parents and siblings:

She married Moses Irvin Hall in 1859 and they had children: Cynthia Josephine (Hogsed), Martha Elizabeth (Ledford), Burton, Marie Louise (Carroll), Rhoda Alice (Carroll), Manley Irvin, Spurgeon M., John Robert, Allen Bunion, Louella Iowa (Stiles) and Rufus.
Mary passed away in 1923 and was buried alongside her husband in the Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Murphy, Cherokee County, North Carolina.[2]
