He married Marie Catherine Roy on 14 Feb 1696 at Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pérade[1].

his name Rivard dit Loranger was found on the baptism of his son Joseph on 11/20/1708.[4]

Claude Rivard dit Loranger was buried on 15 February 1736 at Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan[5], the record giving him around 73 years of age, listing him as capitaine de milice de cette paroisse (militia captain of the parish).[6]
