She was the daughter of Robert Rivard and Madeleine Guillet.
Marriage
Charles Lesieur married Charlotte Rivart on 9 Jan 1700 in Batiscan[1]
Note: There is another couple bearing the same names of Charles Lesieur married to Charlotte Rivard on 2 Mar 1778 in Yamachiche, that Charles is son of Pierre & Anne Geneviève Sicard, and that Charlotte is daughter of Joseph Rivard & Charlotte Lemaitre, not to be confused together.[2]
There are several children born to them, including the following known children:
- Charles, bapt 17 Oct 1700 Batiscan; presumed deceased soon after since another boy named the same the next year
- Charles, bapt 28 Sept 1701 Batiscan; married Ursule Dupaul (Dupoleau) 9 Jan 1745 Yamachiche
- Marie Françoise, b 1 Nov 1704 bapt 4 May 1705 Trois-Rivières; married Pierre Toutemps 25 Jan 1730 Yamachiche;
- Marie Charlotte, b 14 Sept 1709 grande rivière Yamachiche, bapt 2 Oct Trois-Rivières; married Jean Baptiste Casobon 19 Apr 1750 Yamachiche; Charlotte Lesieur married François Rivar widower of Catherine Moreau 21 Nov 1757 Yamachiche, no mention of prior marriage for her
